Audition Technique Workshop (adults) Instructor: Director, Matt Black
This is an absolutely exceptional workshop!! It is a perfect choice if you are looking to start booking more auditions, and if you are ready to really start working in the business. This intense 8-week course has received much acclaim in the acting community. You will “polish” your read to be very competitive for auditions. Each student will have substantial camera time, and all work is videotaped so you can see your progress.
Monday Nights – Begins September 22, 2008
Class Time: 7:00 pm-9:00 pm (8-week course)
Fee: $345 plus $20 for materials.

PRIVATE COLD READ/MONOLOGUE COACHING
Perfect if you need to “brush up” an audition piece – but not a whole class. Extremely helpful.

Spokesperson/Co-Hosting – Intermediate Level Instructor: Director, Matt Black
Our most successful class!!! 70% of work in the Philadelphia market is corporate industrials, infomercials, point of purchase sales pieces, and web hosting. This is the day-to-day work. Actors who can handle spokesperson and hosting scripts are at the top of the list for this work. These actors work more consistently than other actors in the market. This class will feature working with all sorts of corporate and spokes type scripts.

Comedy Improv Instructor: Bill McLaughlin
“Making Your Comedic Self Available”
Have you always thought you were funny but don’t know how to apply that skill when auditioning? In this course former student of Chicago’s renowned Second City, Bill McLaughlin, uses various techniques to allow the student to express their comedic selves through character range, stage presence, listening and reaction, and creative agility. Using such techniques will help you think queickly, on your feet. (This is not a stand up Comedy course)

Scene Technique Instructor: Donald McKenna
Donald McKenna delivers a class that will train the actor with intense dramatic improvisation and scene work.. It is only for the hard working artist. He will train and challenge you to find truthful and believable character- development. This class is for the actor who wishes to access their emotions more readily and consistently while learning to make your objective a first priority. Former students of Donald’s still fly him to LA to receive training, a true testimonial of what respect and commitment he earns from his students.

Master Class with Irene Baird
Renowned Actress, Director, and Teacher Irene Baird is joining forces with Wickline Casting to create a Master Class. This class will require an audition since only a select group of actors will be chosen to work with this highly respected instructor. Irene Baird has gained many acting, directing, and teaching honors in her life, and has worked with all of the greats of modern acting, including studying under Lee Strasberg himself! This class is for the serious actor who wants to find the depth of their emotional life and break through the barriers that are keeping them from becoming the artist they have the potential to be. Irene uses European and American acting techniques to encourage the student to find their hidden emotions and how to easily access them when needed, to support and define a role. This class is for the professional actor that dares to learn how to “own the room” every time they enter.
All participants will have a taped “Final Showcase” of your work.
