The Ulster American Society is a nonprofit, grass-roots, all-volunteer awareness and advocacy organization working to increase and sustain American support of peacemaking, recovery, and development efforts in Northern Ireland.
Please join us in Philadelphia on November 7-9, 2008 when we will host the Northern Ireland Film Festival to showcase positive, forward-looking films made in or about Northern Ireland to: raise awareness of today’s Northern Ireland and change misperceptions; help Americans discover Northern Ireland including its unique blend of Irish and Scots-Irish cultures; and foster increased tourism, trade, and investment.
Events will be held at the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia’s Old City section and close to fine restaurants, hotels, museums, and landmarks including Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell.
Purchase your tickets on-line at http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/40151. (Seating is limited and tickets will not be sold at the door.)
