Ronald Harwood’s new play, “Quartet” is filled with laughter, drama, music and merriment and you can only see it at Walnut Street Theatre’s Independence Studio on 3.
Harwood is one of the most accomplished and critically celebrated of all contemporary dramatists. He has spent the majority of his career dividing his time between prolific careers as a playwright, scriptwriter for theatrical films, and author of teleplays. Among his many accomplishments, he won his first Oscar for scripting Roman Polanski’s period drama The Pianist (2002), adapted Gabriel Garcia Marquez’s beloved novel Love in the Time of Cholera (2007) and adapted quadriplegic Jean-Dominique Bauby’s memoir The Diving Bell and the Butterfly. His work on that film scored him his third nomination from the Academy for Best Adapted Screenplay.
Don’t miss out on your chance to see Ronald Harwood’s work up close and personal. “Quartet”, only at Walnut Street Theatre’s Independence Studio on 3!
