How do you master a mixer? How do you cope with difficult sound situations? What are the pros and cons of wireless microphones? In this special two-part workshop, sound recordist Jack Mehlbaum will look at important considerations for field recording, particularly with miniDV camcorder productions, including choosing the proper gear for your project. The workshop will also look at some of the newest technological innovations for digital video sound recordings. The workshop will take place on Friday, April 25 from 6:00 – 9:00 pm and on Saturday, April 26 from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm. The registration fee is $65. Pre-registration is required.
