SCVNGR & Robbins Diamonds Dash New Media Contest
SCVNGR, an interactive marketing company will be hosting the 1st Annual Robbins Diamonds Dash on Saturday, October 18th in Center City Philadelphia. The Dash will bring over 500 people from all around Philly to LOVE Park (or TBD). At 10am, everyone will receive the first clue (via text message) for a high-tech city-wide SCVNGR (Scavenger) Hunt trying to win a $20,000 diamond ring!
Rather than using traditional media to catch the day on video, we have designed a contest for the Film & New Media students and professionals of our great city. We would like to harness the best creative talent of the Philadelphia to produce a 2-3 minute video capturing the energy of the day. The best & most creative video will win the Grand Prize of $1,000 cash! The winner will also receive follow up press mentions and your work will displayed on our homepage, garnering reviews from marketing agencies coast to coast. There will also be 2nd & 3rd place awards of $500 & $250.
Contest At-A-Glance:
Who: Local Philly Students, Amateurs, Professionals (Film, Video & New Media etc)
What: Capture the day-long event of 500 people in a new and creative way. Delivering a high quality produced 2-3 minute video.
Where: Love Park (or TBD) & Center City Philadelphia
Why: We hope to capture the energy of the event in the most cutting edge and creative way possible.
How: Teams must sign up by sending a registration email including the following information: Contact Name, Phone, Address, Email, Names & Majors of team members, Organization/School name, 100-word concept introduction. Team Registration Email Due: September 22nd .
Criteria: Final submissions must be received by October 28th. Winners will be announced by October 31st. Submissions will be judged by how well they: Capture the energy and excitement of the day Highlight the technological game play Tell a story in a CREATIVE way Achieve professional quality
