The Philadelphia Film Industry Meetup Group - May Meeting

Thursday, May 8, 2008 at 7:30 PM
Fortress of the Arts
221 W. Glenwood Ave. 4th Floor
Philadelphia , PA 19106
610.291.1020

The May meeting will be a film critique event…

Bring a short film to show during the meeting. Once the film is shown, we’ll discuss what was good about it and what could use some improvement.

We’ll show up to 5 minutes of each film so that we can get as many in as possible during the meeting. After the 5 minutes is up, we’ll have a brief discussion about the film. Please keep your comments constructive. Don’t just tell us that the film is great or that it sucks. Tell us why you think it’s great or what needs improvement.

This particular meeting is set up to help improve our skills as filmmakers. Bear in mind that we want people to be honest about what they think about your work so don’t take any of the comments personally. This isn’t meant to hurt anyone’s feelings, it’s meant to emphasize the good things and learn from the things that still need to be polished.

Popcorn, drink and snack contributions are encouraged!

Don’t forget that the cost of overhead for the Fortress is pricey! Any monetary donations to help pay the utility bills are greatly appreciated!
