A coming-of-age story which revoles around the film's main character Timmy Pierce. The child of an upper class family, Timmy is jaded by the opportunities and lifestyle he has been afforded, but slowly the film unveils the facade of Timmy's world - Foxchase Country Club. Enamored by his father's seemingly "perfect" world, Timmy steadily learns of the imperfections of not only his father, but numerous members of the country club.
