A NY based media company is looking to hire a Field Production Assistant to work on a new episode for their series. Must be available 7 days a week starting approximately March 6- April 14
State date: Appx. 3/6
End Date: Appx. 4/14

Responsibilities include: field logs/transcribing footage; acquiring appearance releases/location agreements/any other type of pertinent paperwork needed from talent; handling FEDEX shipments to/from office in NY; act as runner; updating production team Google sites, etc.
Required skills include:
1-3 years experience in production

College degree
Positive attitude/hardworking

Independent Filmmaker is seeking a DP and Editor to help create a teaser trailer to help raise funding for a full length action drama. Basically we're looking for Film Grad Students who are at the top of their game and willing to work on an exciting piece that could lead to an exciting larger project and will look good on their reel.
DP-- Someone with knowledge on how to shoot for fight scenes and film noir style.
Editor- Someone with knowledge of how to edit a fast pace teaser and help select what scenes to shoot for the teaser.
Project: A film noir film that blends martial arts and comic book mythology with deep character development set in a realistic urban setting.
"A mysterious loner who works at a comic book store saves a beautiful dancer from being raped outside of a nightclub and protects a young boy from an abusive household. They save him from a life of isolation and loneliness. He saves them from a group of drug dealers when the boy witnesses a murder."

Freelance Editors and DPs Needed

Our video production company is looking for reliable freelance editors and DPs with 3+ years experience in the professional field. We are located in West Chester, PA and will not consider applicants that are not within a reasonable driving distance.
We prefer editors trained and experienced with Media Composer (Avid), but we do use Final Cut Pro as well. The editor must be reliable, creative and have an excellent sense of time management. It is also important that the editor has well-rounded workflow experience with After Effects and/or Motion. We need someone who can do more than rearrange clips - we want someone who can finish a clean and impactful video product for a wide range of client types.
DPs must have 3+ years experience working with modern HD cameras and lighting. Knowledge of audio is a huge plus.
This is not a full time position, however, there is real potential for a lot of serious work if we see you are qualified. Pay is negotiable and of course depends on your level of skill.

Powell III details the life of a young Mexican child who is ripped from his Mother's arms by the ruthless slave pedaling husband and wife team Buzz and Honey. Buzz and Honey operate the Parish Workhouse which the young Mexican child, Lucky is forced to begin his life without his mother at the age of 9 at. While there he feels recluse, alienated, and abused until he's saved by a young Puerto Rican man who goes by the name Artie who offers the young Lucky an opportunity he couldn't refuse.

Kharybdis Films, a Philadelphia based production company seeks an entry level associate producer for its feature length film, Plugged Conscious (www.pluggedconscious.com). Principal Photography is set for May, 2012 in the Philadelphia area.
Under the direction of the Producer, the Associate Producer is responsible for assisting with the execution of several fundraising and promotional events. The AP will also assist with scheduling, budgeting and networking for the film. The ideal candidate is a student with experience in film/video, event planning, promotions or marketing. Previous experience preferred but not mandatory.
Flexible, part time hours with film credit and meals provided. This is an unpaid position. The right candidate will be considered for a paid position as an Assistant Director closer to production.

Executive producer/host of local Christian/community based talk show is looking for talented editor to edit 28 minute programs on an ongoing basis to air in Philadelphia, NY and The Internet. The ideal candidate would be sensitive to spiritual viewpoints and beliefs as they pertain to Christianity.
Editor will be responsible for adding graphics and music to finished project as instructed by executive producer. And, in addition to a 30 minute cut, editor is responsible for editing a 5 minute version for local public access station. Editor will receive raw footage on MiniDV along with written and verbal instructions for each show.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be proficient in any professional editing program and in talk show formats.

After cutting, pasting and constructing the frame, paper is hardened with resin, sanded down to size and painted. Armor must look war torn and fit to the actor's specific body type.

Paul's Payne (senior thesis)

This is a story about Paul Peters, a defense attorney responsible for the case of Professor Payne, a comic book style super villain. With his job on the line, Peters has to deal with an egomaniacal client, superhero witnesses, and all sorts of additional chaos. It is a comedy in the vein of Dr. Horrible's Sing Along Blog, The Incredibles, and Mystery Men, and pokes fun at the super hero archetypes we've all grown up with.
To complete this film we need a few additional crew members to help out. All positions will be compensated with meals, a copy of the film and credit.
Producer - Needed to help with fundraising and managing the crew on set.
Second AD - This project will have a large number of extras so a second AD is needed to direct them. This is great experience for aspiring directors.
Shoot dates are expected to be February 10, 11, 12 and February 17, 18, 19.
