Asian Cinevision

- Helping to develop and support both emerging and experienced Asian American film and video makers and other media artists working in a range of genres and styles; and
- Helping to ensure that the full spectrum of Asian and Asian American media works reach diverse audiences in Asian American communities and beyond.
Black Filmmakers Foundation and DVRepublic.org
http://dvrepublic.com/ DVRepublic.org exist as a self-validating, self-supporting online community of “citizens” who regularly critique so-called mainstream film and television. We use the Internet and New Media technology to connect this community and promote socially concerned, entertainment driven filmmaking. We regard the Internet as the liberated zone of the 21st century and the home of our DV Republic. “DV” stands for “digital video” and “dissident voices”.

Termite TV
http://www.termite.org/ "Artists make TV. Founded in 1992, Termite TV is a Philadelphia-based video collective which produces the television series This is only a Test. The mission of Termite TV is to create multi-faceted and multi-voiced shows which address issues of cultural, political, and aesthetic concern. Our subjects range from the seemingly benign, such as nature and travel, to the more obviously controversial, such as welfare rights and immigration. Termite TV shows have been screened at festivals and museums worldwide. To date we have produced 33 shows which are broadcast nationally through the programming service Free Speech TV.”
The International Black Panther Film Festival
http://www.pantherfilmfest.com/ The International Black Panther Film Festival is a non-competitive cultural program that expresses the spirit of liberation exemplified by the Black Panther Party. Exuberant images of fighting black youth have inspired artists around the world to make films about the struggle waged by the Black Panther Party. More than 20 such films have been produced, most of which are rarely seen. The genesis of this festival is to show a new generation of black and Latino youth this powerful story of resistance.
