Written and directed by Forrest Harding, By The Watercooler is a short film set in an insurance office where Ryan (Andrew Spires) loves his co-worker Amy (Lindsey Bernard), who happens to sit by the office watercooler, from afar. It's the age-old story of boy meets girl, boy drinks loads of water trying to get up the nerve to talk to her, boy runs into girl outside of bathroom. A labor of love done on a shoestring budget, By The Watercooler was shot in one weekend at Banyan Productions' offices in Philadelphia. Favors were called in and friendships were tested, but in the end, a sweet little love story with a twist was born. Forrest has worked both in front of and behind the cameras for 15 years. For 10 years, he lived and worked in Los Angeles, mostly in television. He relocated to Philly in 2002 and is currently working as a writer/producer/puppeteer on Sprout, a pre-school children's network. Forrest Harding is a graduate of Temple University's film school. By The Watercooler is screening during the 11th annual FirstGlance Film Festival (http://www.firstglancefilms.com), October 16th-19th at Prince Music Theater, 1412 Chestnut Street.
