Barnes - Business Agent Cheryl Baxter - Senior Vice President Where: Pennsylvania Convention & Visitor's Center | Room 307AB Details: The Commonwealth's $75 million tax credit program for filmmakers who shoot movies in Pennsylvania is under attack. Currently, three (3) bills which propose altering or repealing the film tax credit have been introduced. If the bills come up for a vote, members of the PA House Tourism and Recreational Committee will have this testimony upon which to reflect. PA House/Senate Bills Threatening Film Production Tax Credits:
"We are in the midst of the most severe recession in decades. This is not the time to increase the cost of doing business and send jobs to other states with incentives.
