The 13th annual FirstGlance Film Festival announces call for entries for its event Thursday, October 14th through Sunday, October 17th 2010 at Franklin Theater in The Franklin Institute, 222 North 20th Street, Philadelphia, PA 19103.

The 13th annual FirstGlance Film Fest Philly is open to professional, first time, graduate and undergraduate filmmakers and all genres are accepted. Enter online through Withoutabox beginning Feb 13, 2010.  Entry fees start at $25 for early submissions and entries must be submitted on NTSC Region 0 or 1 DVD.

This year, FirstGlance has also partnered with The Franklin Institute to launch the first ever KidFest Philly to the October event. KidFest is open to child and family friendly shorts, animation and feature length narrative and documentaries. The chosen films will be offered special screenings at the museum.
