LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!
Greater Philadelphia Filmmakers presents
Location, Location, Location!

GPFO is proud to present Location, Location, Location!, a seminar focusing on the indispensable but often overlooked role of Location Managers.

A good location manager must be able to think fast on his or her feet as they are constantly moving, usually preceding production to a location and overseeing set breakdown after the stars have gone home. These skillful Jacks- and Janes-of-all-trades help produce some of your favorite films, television shows, commercials, music videos, and new media productions. Some of the many things a location manager must wrangle include permitting costs and regulations, camera and lighting requirements, cranky property and business owners, convenience to other locations, police officers and other public safety officials, production parking, and more. They must also navigate important but less tangible issues such as direction of the sun, airplane flight paths, road work, and curious onlookers eager to tweet a production's every move.

Join GPFO as successful Philadelphia area Location Managers like Edward J. Eberwine III, Daniel V. Kinkade, and Monique LaMontagne detail what it takes to be a success in this vital film and TV industry position.
