The Managing Director’s Office oversees the direction of all the service departments of the City, such as Streets, Police and Fire, and coordinates special projects involving these departments. All requests for City services must be made through the Film Office.

For major film projects, the Managing Director’s office determines the basis and the amount of the deposit required. After the production is completed, the Office prepares the final bill for the production company.

For productions that only require services of one department on a limited basis (i.e., one tow truck and driver for one day) the department bills the company directly.
