As a condition of entering the Competition, I hereby certify that:

1. I am the sole author of the screenplay, titled above, which I herewith submit to the “Set in Philadelphia” Screenwriting Competition. I am the sole and exclusive owner of all rights thereto and have full right and authority to submit the screenplay to you.
2. I will indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Competition, Greater Philadelphia Filmmakers, the Greater Philadelphia Film Office, the Philadelphia Film Festival, Philadelphia Film Society and the Competition judges and sponsors, individually and collectively, including their heirs, personal representatives, officers, directors, employees, successors and assigns, from and against all claims, demands, losses, damages, costs, judgments, liabilities and expenses (including attorneys’ fees) arising out of or in connection with any and all claims of third parties based on any screenplays or other material submitted by me to the Competition.
3. I warrant and represent that my submission is unique and original and that it is not a copy, derivative, or compilation of any existing published or unpublished work.
4. I hereby grant the Competition the right to use my name, photograph, and likeness in connection with any and all marketing, educational, publicity and promotional activities regarding the Competition.
5. I understand the Competition accepts no responsibility for non-receipt or loss of my screenplay, and I hereby agree to remain fully liable in connection therewith. I further understand that the Competition will not return, and is not obligated to return my screenplay (or any other materials that I have submitted to the Competition) to me.
6. I hereby agree to abide by the decisions of the Competition Sponsors and Competition Judges with regards to all matters and decisions, including those decisions involving their sole discretion, relating to the Competition.
